The award show is one of the year’s highlights for the entertainment industry. This 15th edition was celebrated in Las Vegas, where the biggest stars got together to receive the awards and showcase their talent. In these events, the fans do not want to miss a thing their idols do. That’s why impulse put together a special award show/after-party coverage for Sony Music Latin, who had a lot of artists among the nominees. Since very early, suring the arrival on the red carpet of stars like Yandel, Axel, Soledad Pastoruti and Babasonicos, the InPulse team worked on all of Sony Music Latin social networks so fans didn’t miss anything. Two hashtags were used, a genera one for the whole event (#LatinGrammy) and another one for Sony’s after party (#SonySelfie) which was used every time one of the stars took a selfie on the iPad stand, which was then shared on Sony Music Latin social networks.

The element that brought it all together was the Media Wall, which projected all the content in real time on screens placed throughout the green carpet. After a long night of hard work, at that was left was to evaluate the results: The Instagram and Twitter accounts flooded with fans who interacted with the contents being shared. Instagram registered over 9k interactions between comments and likes. Twitter reached 2.5k interaction between retweets replies and favorites, which continued for several days after the event. Carlos Vives and Marc Anthony were also all over Sony Music Latin’s social networks, completing the podium.

The most important result though, was that there was not a single star who did not have a blast taking their selfie in the iPad Stand.
