During 2015, digital advertising revenues reached $59.6 million, which is a 20% increase from last year’s numbers.

Mobile advertising climbed to almost $21 billion. That’s 66% more than the previous year, but mobile shared the spotlight with social media, who's growth was equivalent to almost $11 billion. This was a clear upswing from the $7 billion dollars marked last year.

Sherrill Mane, Senior VP of research, analytics and measurement at the IAB stated that “revenue and pricing is growing, meaning there is higher demand for higher-priced inventory”. According to David Silverman, a partner at PwC, “display-related advertising has plenty of potential for future growth”. The segment was up to $13.9 billion during 2015, but digital video saw a 30% increase during the same period. Read the full report here.
